Suisterhood Spotlights: Code, Heat, and Global Genius in Greece
Ten days. Too many Freddo espressos. One relentless Greek heatwave.

This newsletter is way overdue. We know. But we were all shamelessly soaking up a little family time during summer break. There were long walks, cold drinks, and full inbox avoidance. No regrets.
But here is quick TLDR for you:
OceanDAO summit for Suisters at Sui Hub in Greece
Meet Suisters shining at Ocean DAO
What Happens When You Build, Eat, and Roast Together?
Girl Power at OceanDAO 🌊
Now that our sandals are off and the calendars are back in action, it’s time to talk about Athens.
OceanDAO Summit touched down at SuiHub and the switch flipped immediately. Builders showed up, projects got moving, and idea-sharing went from “let’s chat” to “check the GitHub.” Things got loud, collaborative, and very real, very fast.
And right in the middle of it all? The Suisters.

Smart, driven, hilarious, and not afraid to take the lead. They showed up ready and made the whole week unforgettable.
Let’s meet them. 💜
You’re reading Suisterhood Spotlight: a story-led newsletter about women who are shaping the future of Web3 with purpose and clarity. Each issue features a builder, founder, or leader who’s showing up with vision, voice, and a sense of shared mission. Let’s dive in.
Minh — Design Brain, Data HandsMinh is the UI/UX lead of Kamo Finance, a project focused on making DeFi more accessible, especially for new users. Her background in information systems gives her serious strength in database management, but she’s just as sharp when it comes to UI/UX design. Before stepping into Web3, Minh was a graphic designer for her university’s student board, creating everything from event visuals to campaign content. Now she’s building smart contracts and smart interfaces, and doing it all with style. She’s also lending her creative genius to Suisterhood’s Product Management course design. Soon, you’ll see her work bringing clarity (and style) to how our community learns. Connect with her on LinkedIn. | ![]() |
Nadia — Founder Energy at Full VolumeNadia built Coindrip, a protocol for real-time token streaming. Think "subscriptions meet payroll, but make it crypto." She handles marketing, business development, product, and probably your project too… She joined the Sui ecosystem thanks to a timely intro from our DevRel Alex (good job Alex 💟), and hasn’t slowed down since. | ![]() |
You don’t need to be perfect to start. You just need to show up.
- Nadia
Violina — Graph Databases and Grad CapsFresh out of college, but already a 4-time hackathon winner. Overflow was her very first Web3 hackathon, and her team took second place with WalGraph, the first decentralized graph database on Sui. IBM sent her an offer while she was still shipping features. Calm, focused, no frills. She’s the real deal. Connect with her on LinkedIn | ![]() |
The best growth comes from real connection.

TODAY’S WORKSPACE
Live from Athens, Greece
For 10 days, the Suisters are working from Athens - a city full of history, energy, and way too many stairs.
Ancient temples sit right next to busy streets. People talk about tech, politics, and life over strong coffee. Scooters fly past like it’s a race no one signed up for.
Athens has always been a place for bold ideas. Now it’s full of laptops, sticky notes, and builders turning their ideas into real projects.
Today’s workspace? Bright, loud, inspiring - and very, very hot.

More Suisters, More Stories
![]() | Martina — The Double ThreatMartina helped lead two projects into the top 36: RaidenX and Moonbag, both developed at Sotatek Labs. Her breakdown of tokenomics had people leaning in like it was finals week. Before Web3, she was deep in gaming content - think League of Legends strategy, commentary, and creator collabs. She brought that gamer reflex energy straight into protocol design. |
For me, authenticity is the foundation. Even on days I feel low, I choose honesty over perfection.
- Martina
Febi — Privacy Queen with Hackathon Romance Vibes
Febi started as a college KOL with a solid following and income, but something was missing. Now she’s building Pivy, a stealth-payment toolkit that keeps your real wallet private. She's a full-stack founder with real vision - and yes, she met her cofounder (and now partner) at a hackathon. Cute and productive.

Confidence isn’t a trait. It’s a habit.

![]() | Natalie — From Bank Data to Bots with PersonalityNatalie began her career as a data engineer at the Bank of Singapore. Since then, she’s jumped into Web3 gaming and now leads two standout projects: SpacePaws and PlaiPin. With her team at Suibotics, she’s building physical AI companions that grow and adapt to their owners over time. Each PlaiPin starts with its own unique personality and evolves through interaction. It’s a bold mix of AI, hardware, and blockchain - playful on the surface, deeply technical underneath. Connect with her on X |
![]() | Harper — Architect, Playing with Crypto ArchitectureHarper is an architect who accidentally wandered into blockchain - and stayed. She helped create Archimeters, a parametric 3D design tool that links NFTs to real-world manufacturing. Think: digital blueprints, actual products. With her teammates Alice and Emma (yes, a full-stack crypto dream team), they built something refreshingly practical. She also managed to mentor others while pitching. That’s elite multitasking. If you want to build something, think differently. Just go all in. embrace the late nights, and you’ll find you’re far more powerful and resilient than you ever thought.
- Harper
![]() | Julia — Codes Like She BreathesIf I’ve seen Julia standing still, no I haven’t!! She’s either coding, sketching diagrams, asking the smartest question in the room, or pitching OpenGraph Labs for the fifth time that day. Her project gathers community data to help train AI for the robotic future. |
![]() | Shizuku — Pharmacist by Day, Community Builder by NightShizuku might call herself a beginner, but her impact says otherwise. By day, she’s a pharmacist. By night (and probably weekends), she’s been organizing Sui-related events across Japan — from developer workshops for university students to DeFi intros for broader audiences. She’s even helped Web2 developers get started building on Walrus Sites. She’s also the Japan community lead for the NFT project Studio Mirai and is building with Unagi Labs, while continuing to learn and grow as a developer. Her journey into Web3 started just a year ago, but she’s already creating space for others to join alongside her. Connect with her on X |
What Happens When You Build, Eat, and Roast Together?
Ten days of debugging, dreaming, and group therapy via shared suffering. There were demo days, cold drinks, spontaneous pitch practice, and one very emotional conversation about slippage.
The Suisters came from Korea, Vietnam, India, the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Romania. Their backgrounds covered product, design, cybersecurity, AI, cryptography, engineering.
They didn’t just join. They built. They left with new collaborators, confidence, hotter personal profiles and communities stronger than ever.
